The Hedges Inn - Table reservation

I stayed for a week last month and had a wonderful stay. The grounds and house are beautiful, location was perfect for me as I love the walk to Main Beach along Ocean Avenue and this is the closest B B to Main Beach (about a mile walk which I do not mind as its one of the most beautiful walks to a beach in the U.S. Jenny and her staff are friendly, attentive and made my stay like a home away from home. I felt like one of the family! The house is well appointed with spacious living rooms, studies for relaxing, working or enjoying a glass of wine after the beach and an honor system bar which I appreciate (they are counting on the trustworthiness of their guests . We just finished our weekend long stay and I had to write a review. My partner and I stayed here because of the historical attraction but it is beyond all expectations. Aside from being incredibly preserved it is also beautiful.The bed and breakfast was so peaceful, homey and comfortable. Everything from the cozy rooms, kind and attentive staff, amenities, and focus on guest experience makes this the perfect stay. Terrible experience. The hotel restaurant Bar None made an error by charging me more money than what my tab was and has refused to make any effort to refund me. My receipt does not reflect the amount of money the bar charged to my card. It has now been over 8 weeks since this happened and the manager has made it seem like an incredible inconvenience to make a simple refund. I have received text messages from the rude manager using K and dismissive language about this issue. Unacceptable service. Rude staff. Overall embarrassing. Do not spend your money here.

Everything about the hedges inn is perfect! From the phone conversation to book my reservation to my check in was professional, seamless, and more than a delight. Jenny, was the best part With her welcoming personality, showing me the restaurant and bar, and her helping me with my bags upstairs. I can't wait to stay again! This place was such a treat!
