I have been visiting this pub for three years and have always enjoyed the food and service. However, today my disabled friend and I had the worst experience we've ever had with the staff and the kitchen. We ordered our usual steaks, but this time they were so tough we couldn't even cut through them; they were mostly gristle. I sent them back, and the young waitress was very friendly and brought us two new steaks. Unfortunately, my friend still couldn't cut into hers, and I had to discreetly spit my steak into a napkin because it was impossible to chew. Philip and his staff go out of their way to make our dining experience excellent, whether we dine as a large group, or two or a few. We tend to go for lunch, and appreciate the $15 Seniors specials. Generous quantities and perfectly cooked. Recently 30 of our Red Hat ladies enjoyed the privacy of the separate room, and we were delighted with the way the tables were set up like they do for the Service clubs who dine there no one had their back to anyone. our group of 6 has booked a table on Saturday evening in the October. we went early to avoid the karioke that is not our ding. the food we had ordered had generous portions and each individual dish was delicious. I had pork rib ribbed and if I were home, I would have licked the plate. service was very good with the staff helpful and polite.
Are here on the way out to a concert and was not terribly impressed. Expensive beer for a local and the inside restaurant is a few chair strewn between the public bar and the toilets. The food itself was pretty good, but it lacks a restaurant feel and seems too cramped and rowdy for a nice meal experience

Always a great experience! Phil and the staff are fantastic. Our group has been visiting this place regularly since it opened. We come for the quiz every Wednesday and thoroughly enjoy it; the quiz host is excellent. The portion sizes are generous, and the food is delicious!
My husband and I decided to go out for dinner so we come here. Totally enjoyed the delicious food in a wonderful atmosphere and the staff where fantastic, I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants a wonderful night out.
We came here to try something new for work lunch. I just wanted something light so I had the Arancini and it wasn't bad, I enjoyed it. The gentleman was pretty friendly, and the place was fairly quiet, had an average feel to it.
Lovely cosy place with welcoming staff, great food with lots of options available it was reasonably priced, staff were lovely attentive would highly recommend it to others.

Phil and his staff are always polite and friendly. They are not only generous but also serve delicious food. I have dined here many times and would highly recommend it.
Music so loud you had to shout to your companions to be heard. The waitress was very rude saying there's the door if you don't like it. The six of us promptly left.
