the bar is very, very dated and does not think that it has been decorated since the 70s, which is in itself good, but it felt more like a greasy spoon of caffe than a beautiful cozy bar. it was ice cold, so we didn't even take our weights off. we ordered the vegan burger, who supposedly should be a kind of fungal creation, but was in the did smeared kartoffel (with possibly a little swirl and 1/4 of a mushroom that was chopped up there somewhere) that was as burger and fried! it was served in a bungalow with chips on the side. so our meal was served in a ground potato in a brotbunk with kartoffel! there were no soap or hot water in the toilets. the music was a kind of terrible 70s instrument...

I really, really enjoyed the home-made vegan burger I had there a few months ago, although I would have enjoyed a slightly bigger burger and fewer chips. It was so tasty, one of the best I've ever had. The non-vegan veggie burger option is only a Quorn burger though. My mum has also enjoyed eating there a few times, including the vegan casserole the banana/apple fritters with vegan ice cream (I think Swedish Glace). It's really small, just a few tables (I think they have a garden area though, which I didn't go in), and a bit lacking in atmosphere, and some people go there just for drinks as it's a bar as well. So I felt a little awkward walking in and ordering, but I'm glad I did! It's a bit...

I would read the reviews and was not surprised to see how dated the height was. it has not turned out so. it wasn't too busy, but you said I had a 40-minute waiting time. that was great. the table near us who left, told us that it was worth waiting and they were right. the kerl behind the bar was really nice. played 70s music, but I really enjoyed hearing something I haven't heard for ever. the view from the garden is breathtaking. the portions huge.

we love this place. we have visited the crag bar for a few years and have never been disappointed (only when they have run out of the crispy veg escape.) it is small but cozy and that gives it its character. barry, the owner is always very friendly and a very nice guy. we often have the chow mine and some extra bits. the chow mine is fantastic! inexpensive, very reasonable and the portions huge.
