A dated pub with a country feel in the city. Cocktails are cheap (ranging from $12 to $15) and just as good as fancier places. Food was uninspiring - function platters consisted of party pies, spring rolls (the frozen bulk kind), and squares of puff pastry with some sauce and a slice of delimeat on top. Service was excellent but the venue so dim and brown I think that we'll go somewhere with a view next time.

If you like to pay $23 each for your two sirloin steaks to be blackened and charcoaled on one side and presented on the plates burnt side down, then I highly recommend the Mt Henry. Topped off with a delicious cold sauce on top, I now remember why it's been 10 years since my last visit to this establishment.

Good quality bar food and prices. Relaxed environment with areas to bet, watch sport or have a chat. They have improved over the past months. I wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a sit-down dinner rather than enjoying a schooner or two with mates.

$6 for a pint of post mix soft drink half full of ice, was enough to put me off ordering a meal. Was trying to do the right thing and be skipper, I'll take my mates to a different pub next time. Who do they think they are, Hoyts?
