Went in the evening on a weekend and bought a custard twist. I thought it tasted a bit odd. My wife tried it and agreed. I threw it in the trash container. I went back inside and told the girls who were working that evening. All they said was 'sorry. It 's probably because the machine was running low. ' No offer of another item or a refund. Wouldn 't go here again very soon. New information: just received a satisfying reply from the owner. That means a lot. The youngwomen serving were new and inexperienced. That 's why I didn 't want to to make a big deal that evening and make them feel bad. Thanks to the owner for his/her explanation and offer to make up for the unfortunate experience. Will...
Not terribly thrilled. Really missing Rita's. I can buy a whole carton of Hershey's Ice Cream from the grocery store for less than we paid for two smallish servings here...I was hoping for a new place to move in with better ice cream... Not sure it's really worth the trip. I am amending my review... All the above remains true, and I'll just add that they will NEVER earn my business again. My family does not support businesses who don't support us.
