Now serving alcohol...and other changes!. After shopping on a Friday evening, I came here with a friend for dinner. Granted, this same location used to be a 'family restaurant ' for years.<br/ <br/ Upon entry, I was quick to notice all the cosmetic changes. Gone is the tired carpeting, and standard restaurant booths. It has been replaced with tables and chairs, and 'hardwood look ' appearance. Other noticeable changes; bar area, and big screen television sets. <br/ <br/ Complimentary appetizers were offered as a special.. There were about 3 or 4 choices; we ordered the potato skins. For the main meal, I ordered the Cranberry Spinach Salad topped with grilled chicken. The food was excellent....
Still finding its way?. There seems to be something a little off when you first enter but maybe it was me. The interior has been nicely updated more of a 'downtown ' ambiance, than just off the highway. Ordered steak, walleye, and pot roast. All were excellent with exceptional portions.<br/ <br/ Definately give it a chance for the food!
Pizza Sticks are great. A friend and i went for brunch. I had the Hills Billy Omelette and some pizza sticks. He had the philly cheesesteak. It was all fantastic. The omelettes are HUGE. The pizza sticks are great and would be great with some beers. I think we'll go back again.
Pizza and Service. My wife and I truly enjoyed the food, beverage, service, atmosphere and value of tonight's visit to the HCG.<br/ <br/ We will return and tell our friends.
