had a visit with friends on Thursday night. that was my first time at the hollins bush after years of driving. there were plenty of parking spaces on the back of the pub over the nearby apartments parking lot. it is a very nice small pub with a cozy atmosphere. the young man on the bar was friendly and fast to serve us, and regularly our empty glasses also collected. they have a small beer garden on the back, which has been illuminated with feenlight, and we have already said that we will return in the warmer weather. pity that they don't make any food or I think that would be a regular place for us to meet, but I would still definitely recommend the hollins bush
Had supper here in April 2019. Nice enough JW Lees pub, much better than it used to be and busy in the evenings which is a good sign. Food was good enough for the nice, I had a spicy veg curry which was reasonable. Beer garden at the rear and car park too, but mostly it's friendly locals. Guess they shift more food early evening as it was hard getting served and there was less focus on the beer. If you live in Hollins this is pretty much your only option, but it's better than most people get.
We visited this pub and received shopping treatment from the landlady who was rude and complaint about the noise We were happy as we had been to Salford rugby and had a great day We spent over 40.00 But she still complaint We called a couple taxi and went to another pub that was happier to receive happier customers x
Lovely friendly local pub, everyone makes you feel welcome. Its kids and dog friendly. Nice beer garden, pity it doesnt serve food though.
