since I was 18, it was long time the best pub in the opposite and it was 't once close, but then for a few years when the brewery was set up, she lost for me quite a bit. but in the last few months I have started again quite regularly, the selection of the kasks (the quantity was never a problem, always a lot of choice, but the quality of them was questionable for me personally) has better, the choice on keg has much better, the selection of the can/bottle also. proper pub, the bar staff in all these years were wonderful the owner is a good guy. get yourself a pancake with a scabbard!

Traditional Back Street Pub with links to the industrial Heritage of the City. It has it 's own Micro Brewery on site, and serves a vast range of beautifully kept hand pulled Ales. One of my favourite all time Pubs, which has won CAMRA awards for best Pub in Staffordshire many years running. It also has a nice Clientele. Give it a try, You won 't be disappointed.

that is perhaps the best pub I have ever visited, and as an experienced alcohol I have visited many pubs. the device is perfect here for the individual drinker or large groups to come along without excessive noise or disturbing and to enjoy talks operated by very cheap perfectly kept beer.

our first visit, but very impressed :0). excellent ale for jacqui and me. filled more for jacqui and two unequal bright ales for me :0) the sad part of this visit is that we have to go home.
