I had been thinking of visiting the Honeysuckle Inn for months, so it was especially sweet to cross the threshold at last, early in the evening of a sunny spring day. The building is not as small as it looks in the photographs, and it...has a commanding presence in the little enclave of houses where it stands, about minutes' walk from Dumpton Park railway station (downhill). The pub has a beautiful ceiling, textured wallpaper painted over with multiple layers of gloss paint to create a mirror-like finish. Someone else has said this What a difference'. Well it’s true. I last came here about four years ago. It was a very different pub. It was full then, but with a specific sort of client. It has been under new ownership since early this...year. What a difference. Out with the old decoration and furniture. In with lovely furniture and the decoration is superb. Really high quality. The bar has been replaced. It’s great. Staff are so important. Ben was behind the bar, what a terrific barman he is. Very easy to talk to, a great advert for the pub. All in all, a really nice pub now.
Popped in for a quick drink early Saturday. The lady serving behind the bar was having a conversation with someone I'm guessing was a regular and she didn't stop whilst she was serving us! White wine had a slight taste that it had been open...a while and there was no lemonade in the mixer-pump, that came form an open value' bottle. There was a traditional aroma to the establishment which is fairly unusual now there is no smoking inside. On the whole, this could be a welcoming gem of a pub and maybe we just visited at the wrong time or maybe they don't like newcomers.......
We were new to the area and were looking for a local pub. The Honeysuckle Inn had only been reopened for three days when we first visited and we were given a very warm welcome by the landlords. Having read several bad (historical) reviews we...were skeptical, but we were very pleasantly surprised. Having visited several times since, Joe Kat have created a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with good beer, an extensive selection of gins and friendly conversation. I can’t recommend it enough.

Visited this weekend and had a lovely time, management have done a great job refurbishing. Place looks and feels like new, very friendly community feel to all customers. Good variety of drinks available, management were knowledgeable and making recommendations. We took our golden retriever and...they welcome dogs. Will visit again
Completely revamped. Great mix of modern and rustic. Interesting selection of drinks, quite a few of which are local. Toilets vastly improved. Ben the barman is exceptionally welcoming and smiley. If you haven't been in a while, you really should!
Popped in here whilst waiting for someone to finish an operatic society rehearsal. As I was driving, I had a lime and soda. This was not cheap for what it was. Coming back again, the beer was well kept, and not overly expensive. Worth a...visit.
While visiting friend in Ramsgate we ended our night at the Honeysuckle Inn and was the perfect end for a long day and was the best public house we had visited. Great renovation. Cannot wait to visit again when next time in Ramsgate.

The Honeysuckle is a fabulous little pub, the beer is well kept and the Sunday Roast we had last weekend was delicious.. Highly Recommended.
