The Hudson Cakery was originally last on my list of numerous bakeries I called, in hopes of helping me to make my wife and I, 10th year Anniversary special. Little did I know, it should have been the first place I called. This was one of the best cakes I've ever ordered and tasted! The cake was meticulously made, included gold brushed flakes, and other artistry touches. When the cake arrived to my home, all my guest not only were astounded by the beauty of the cake, but by the presentation, time put into every detail, and of course the taste of the moist, rich cake flavors. My husband and I had two wedding ceremonies, and we ordered both of our reception cakes from Jennifer at Hudson Cakery.My husband has a gluten free diet, and we had one chocolate gf cake with peanut butter, and another vanilla gf cake with coconut. We also had tiers of regular, Almond cake with strawberry and vanilla swiss buttercream. Jennifer delivered the most delicious and beautiful cake we could have imagined. I usually don’t like birthday cakes, they are too sweet or ordinary. We ordered her almond cake with vanilla custard and strawberry jelly inside. Brace yourself because this the most well balanced cake that makes you wonder if your taste buds has elevated. This is now the second time we have used Hudson Cakery to celebrate our little boys birthday. Last year we did a Two the Moon theme and this year it was construction. Both times, everyone has been blown away by the cakes they have been the center pieces of our celebrations. For this year, all the extra details construction trucks, sugar traffic cones, striped 3, etc were over the top and the cake itself was delicious.Hudson Cakery is easy to work with, quick to respond and goes the extra mile to make your cake special.

We ordered a custom cake from Hudson Cakery to celebrate my daughter's 3rd birthday. It was the cutest dinosaur themed cake and tasted delicious. We were so happy with Jennifer and her team that we ordered another cake the following year. And it exceeded our expectations again! You almost feel so bad cutting into the cake because it looks so good, but then the taste makes up it : Delicious! Highly recommended!
