Went in for a 16oz Italian soda. Upon arrival there was a few people waiting for ice cream, I wasn’t getting one so I headed to the cash and asked if I should get in the line up if I wanted an Italian soda, the girl said no I can help you here. I noticed the cup she was using was much smaller than 16oz and I said that doesn’t look like 16oz, I said you have those cups over there with a 16oz label. She seemed very confused. The sign said Italian soda $3.99 for 16oz. They gave me a hard time about this. Very strange. Why would I pay for a medium and get a small ? The taller blonde girl yelled across the store asking me if there was a problem in a very sarcastic voice then proceeded to say I sk...

The tip-out system is excessive, and if you’re in the kitchen, you won’t see any of that money. I even had to escalate my concerns to the labor board, but the owner responded by forging documents and signing my name to cover up her misconduct. You can never reach the owner if issues arise, and you will almost always find the restaurant short-staffed. Overall, the place is a mess, and I would not recommend working here.

The ice cream here is honestly quite disappointing. The lines are long and stretch out the door, yet there’s only one person working, even during holiday weekends. They only accept cash, and you’ll find fewer options along with the unnecessary wait, all presented as if it's some quaint small-town charm. Do yourself a favor and go to Misty’s up the street instead; they offer genuine Kawartha ice cream.

This has always been our favorite ice cream shop. On our first visit this year, we were surprised to find that the cups and scoops of ice cream are now half the size they used to be, and they're still over $6.00. Unfortunately, we will have to look for another place to go. We're very disappointed. Book a table now

I went in here 2 years ago and again a week ago with my family. The owner was even more rude than she was initially. Dirty looks, whispering, staring. Very very weird people and place. If I could give 0 stars I would.

A nice old- fashion ice cream shop. Great selection of ice cream, and other desserts. Prices are reasonable, and only deal in cash, but there is a ATM in the store if you don't have any.

The chocolate milkshake was bland and the mint chocolate chip ice cream had freezer burn. Service was good, but the quality was not. Cash only. They do have an ATM inside.

The ice cream is honestly not good at all . Only takes cash. And it’s costly for nothing. Very disappointed. Book a table now

The black sweet cherry is even better than Kawartha Dairy Bordeaux Cherry. Cash only.
