I will start by saying the room was pretty clean. That is always my #1 priority with a hotel/inn/b&b/etc. and they get most of their positives from me there.After that, I had to go back to the office after the first key they gave me didn't work in the door at all. It was open, but we wanted to leave things in the room and explore the area (not to mention sleep in peace so I sort of expected a working door lock. The second key sort of worked. I had to wiggle it for about 30 seconds to a couple minutes each time I wanted to use it as it wouldn't engage the lock. It seems the keys they have don't really match the door lock well. The door lock needs to be fixed.It is unclear on the website, but...
My problem with this In was I COULD NOT STAY LONGER.This was one of the best get aways I have had in my life.I was sorry my vaction was too short.Clean rooms , Great staff , Great restraurant,Watching the sun come up from the porch and the sun go down with a bottle of wine and a beautful lady.LIFE JUST DOES NOT GET BETTERThank you Victor and JudySafety: I felt completely safeFood drinks: Having worked in food service, the food was great on every count.Victor the crab cake WAS THE BEST I EVER HAD,Thank you for a great vaction
We loved our little apartment, Bayview. We relaxed on our deck, watching the sunset every night, and woke up to the brightest sunrise every morning! Gorgeous views and sunny weather for the entire week! Best and freshest food at the Wharf all meals! We enjoyed our walks, checked out Mowry beach! Places to visit Quoddy Heady Light house and Eastport, downtown Lubec, tour McCurdy Smokehouse, and enjoy homemade ice cream!
Splendid location right on the dock. Rooms are adjacent to their restaurant and good food. No smells or sounds come from the restaurant. Our room was clean, well equipped and great views out the windows. Parking can be a bit difficult, but something is always available. Staff was really pleasant and the overall experience was delightful.
