Good Sushi, not great. Service was pretty horrible. Freezing cold inside, temps set for staff not customers. Ordered Asahi super dry. Food runner brought Sapporo draft then proceeded to tell me they didn’t sell Asahi. Asked him to send waiter over, got the Asahi shortly after. Ordered yellowtail collar, it never came over the course of a 2 hour dinner spent primarily waiting for our waiter to show up again. Had to take it off bill. Try fansea in North Manhattan, much better service and food. One of our favorite sushi spots! The food is amazing, make sure to try the famous Katsu-Ya crispy rice. The service is always good. The location is great and I think beats anything in the area at the price point. Highly recommend coming here if you’re in the area, but be ready for a pretty long wait if you don’t have reservations. Nice restaurant with very fresh Japanese sushi. It's a bit pricy for what you get. I'd rather go across the street to sugar fish. Fusion sushi is also another option although it's not traditional and less quality but it's a lot less pricy. Best sushi in town! Only thing is that they are always busy and wait is long, maybe around 3pm is when you can grab a few seats at the bar. Sushi is absolutely delicious, fresh and great quality. Variety of rolls and other dishes. Staff is courteous and kind. Located in MAnhattan Beach downtown. Great Japanese restaurant!

One of the best sushi places I was in Cali! The sushi was good, the prices were reasonable, the service was amazing. I felt welcome what is incredibly important. Just a wonderful experience. Definitely on my list when go-tos when I return to Cali. Come back!
Ate here last night. Food was excellent. Everything was very fresh and tasty and really everybody tried to please. I feel that this is just a great restaurant to either have family time or bussiness meetings. Food was top quality.
My partner and I made a reservation here for a late Valentine's Day celebration. I'm glad we did because we overheard the hostess telling someone there would be a wait of an hour and a half.
Amazing food and great service! The spot is beautiful and great ambiance. I had the French omelette and it was so so good! Highly recommend!
