we called last night in the jolly sailor and decided to stop and eat, we were definitiw not disappointed. the black pudding scotch egg was perfect as starter and then we went on to have the burger and blase and squeak with smoked squealfish and dippy poached ei, wherew it was all amazing when they go out and around and want big food in a friendly atmosphere they eat not far sloping with the jolly sailer.
great little pub very dog friendly and it is nice when the barmann rembers what they drink and is alway up for a friendly chat that eat is great how and there is a real open fireplace warm up
Excellent food, great, well kept, variety of cask beers, very attentive and welcoming staff. Quiz night too, very enjoyable and good value for money.
