Overall, the food was average. The burgers were large, however, you pay a premium for French fries. I would rather they just inflate the price and make French fries standard. The included item is potato chips. My mom and daughter had the burgers and said they were pretty good. I had the stuffed shrimp, which didn't have a lot of flavor. I could tell I was eating shrimp and crab, but there wasn't much flavor. The portion was four stuffed shrimp. However, the shrimp were of the medium variety that I would buy at my local market. They were ripped with a tablespoon size crab ball. I had to pay a premium for cheese on my potato. This dish was $29, which I was prepared to pay, but was disappointe...
Crab dip was subpar but steamed shrimp was awesome. Server never cleared the table before bringing out more food. Then the runner looked confused when I asked her to remove the dirty plates first. My husband noticed the building was under negative air pressure caused from Kitchen hood exhaust (kitchen saloon doors sucked in) causing hot humid exterior air to rush into the restaurant when the exterior doors would open. Sit away from doors if you want A/C. Outdoor seating looked nice and led to long pier on the water.
Nice enough restaurant, but way too noisy. Food very good but not outstanding. I'd flagged our group as celebrating a birthday (my grandson's 19th), but the waiter told us they didn't do anything for special occasions -- a disappointment since the question was asked when I made the reservation through Open Table. A bit on the expensive side, but I suppose that's to be expected on a warm summer weekend night.
We were in town to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday; party of 6. I had asked for a nice view table, but unfortunately, they could not accommodate as it was prom weekend- understood. 2 dinners of scallops, 1 fried shrimp, 1 stuffed rockfish, 1 stuffed shrimp and 1 cedar planked salmon. Even tho it was Mothers Day our table was ready , the service was good, and food was right temperature. We were happy to find that The Lighthouse is now under Open Table for reservations.
Everything about this place is amazing. Great view, great food, great service. I will definitely be going back again, and again!
Much better experience than times before. Definitely going to miss this place when I leave.
