We went Saturday night for my birthday dinner and we were not disappointed. It has probably been 12 years since I have been to the Keg as the last time I went was truly awful (one in Ontario, not this location). This time was fabulous! From entering the establishment to exiting, everybody was so pleasant and welcoming. Our server, Darcie was so friendly and talkative explaining the menu thoroughly. She was a little quick to check how our food was she'd be by before we even had the chance to have a bite but overall she was so lovely. I'd prefer this to someone who never checked on us. Food was meh, didn’t enjoy last nights experience at all. Service could definitely use some training, wasn’t the standard I’m used to at the keg. Mid dinner our server came and asked if we were done with our meal, which we were obviously not. The server at the end came, and placed the bill on the table while we were attempting to enjoy our dessert. Felt like we were rushed to leave. Needless to say not worth the $148 we spent… I’d think twice before visiting again.
We ordered the peppercorn steak with a baked potato and seasonal vegetables. I would definitely give it five stars. The service was excellent. The young lady who looked after us was very efficient and her timing was spot on. The only negative is I found it to be a little loud. Although that would be a common complaint I would make at most dinning establishments.
Maybe the waitress was busy, maybe my eating alone with no drink meant to her that there would not be a large tip? Not sure… but the big guy in whites came by to double check if everything was ok he sorted it out and was very professional and sincere I saw him working with several tables and he is a pro. Give that man a raise :

We felt like our dining experience at this restaurant was rushed. Our server didn't engage in much small talk with us, making it feel like we were at a typical pub. We had to flag down another server to get refills. We've had better experiences at the 130th location.
We recently celebrated a son and grandson's birthdays with a party of 7 at this restaurant. The only issue we encountered was that they were out of stock of Merlot. However, every dish we ordered was cooked perfectly and exactly as we had requested.
The Keg is always a reliable “go to” restaurant for excellent service and great food. Kudos to Julia for her service for us. Blackened chicken, salmon, meatloaf, and sirloin steak oscar were the éntrées ordered. All were excellent. Will be back.
Always a classic and always a good time. We enjoyed our meals as always and appreciate the fact that we can keep coming back everytime and get the same value and a really damn good steak!

My best meal out of the year. Went for our anniversary. The food and service from entry to exit were great. Will definitely be going again.
Everything was great. The only complaint was the bun served with escargot, stale. Used the sour dough bread served instead.
