This was my first time at The Kibitz Room and I only went because I hear it mentioned often by others. It is a cute little deli, however, the employees weren’t too too nice. The tables looked a mess when we came just dirty, not cleaned up. I thought the entire place was kosher since it’s a Jewish deli but it’s not which threw me off a little since I was looking for Kosher. We still ordered the Kosher choices they had. We got the pastrami and bologna sandwich they were good but nothing over the top and the price is not worth it in my opinion. This restaurant in South Jersey serves the best and largest Corned beef special around. The complimentary pickle bar is a nice bonus. Although it may be pricey, it is worth the money. I am a big eater, and even I had to take half of my meal home for later. The sandwich was filled with approximately 3/4 lb of delicious lean corned beef. I recommend ordering one sandwich to share between two people, it will be plenty.
Our of all times get chicken noodle soup, handful of times chicken is rubbery overcooked. What's up with this new 3% charge when you pay with a card? They quote your total then charge a higher AMT on your card. When I inquired she pointed to sign that was turned away from me that I would have never seen. They need to quote the total AMT so you know how much is coming out of your bank acct. Full disclosure.
This place is great. The restaurant is a Kosher Deli. They have a wide variety of options and desserts. We just love the place. You just have to try it out. I highly recommend The Kibitz Room.
