We booked a table here for my dad’s birthday, 6 adults and 2 children. Service was poor. It took over one hour and we’d only eaten our starters, food was slow. Food was brought out at different time. Children’s starters were forgotten (garlic bread) and never brought out or even acknowledged they were forgotten. Children’s meals were slow coming out, so we were sat waiting around to eat. Then after desserts were brought out, we were quickly ushered out and we were told to pay up as the next table were stood waiting at the bar area, we would’ve finished quicker if service had been faster! Never asked once if we would like any more drinks. Children from another table were running around scream...
I went to this restaurant with my mother and brother for a family meal. The staff were very friendly and the surroundings were nice, but it felt more like a pub than a restaurant. Unfortunately, the meal was very disappointing. The mayonnaise tasted unlike anything I have ever had before. The 'catch of the day' was terrible - tiny fish and tasteless vegetables. The pate was already spread on the toast, which is not how it should be served. We guessed that the meal for three starters, three mains, and two drinks would cost around £50, but the actual bill was £78! We were shocked by the high price and the low quality of the food. We will not be returning to this restaurant. I do not recommend...
Stayed here for 2 nights, had breakfast and evening meals twice, super service and staff. The wine is not cheap but excellent quality. Loved the, pork belly, salmon and king prawn linguine, and the gammon steak. They have a huge cheese board too with local cheeses. Breakfast was as good as the dinner, with a great choice and once again super service. I really makes a change to go somewhere where the staff are so good. We will be back when in the area again
Headed here as an alternative to our usuals and weren't disappointed. Gorgeous food, fantastic service and exceptional staff who worked together to provide a brilliant experience. Between the group of us we had sharing nachos to start, fish chips and gammon for mains and shared a chocolate fudge brownie for dessert; all of which were exceptional. Hats off to the owners and staff, will be back soon!

We eat here regularly and most recently yesterday evening. The service is phenomenal and you are always made to feel extremely welcome, the staff always have a smile on their faces and are very attentive. The food is always cooked and served perfectly and we have never had a bad experience. There is an excellent selection of both food and drinks. We feel lucky to have this gem on our doorstep : xx
We stayed for three nights. From the moment we arrived we had a perfect experience. Very friendly, customer focused staff, where nothing was too much. Great breakfasts, had two dinners and all beautiful and well presented. Very reasonable priced drinks and food. Overall, a very pleasant experience and would love to stay there again when visiting family.

Amazing dining experience with amazing service, busy night in the restaurant , food and produce outstanding puddings to die for, waitresses outstanding very personable and friendly never stopped serving all with with the same care and professionalism

Visited with my partner, second time I have eaten here….never again! Still mediocre food, I do not know how they justify the prices. Service not good either.
We came here for dinner. It was fantastic food and excellent service will come here again when we visit our son.
