had a short stay over, and the owners were so nice and accommodating and made you feel right at home, had great food and surrounded by great views, peaceful and quiet, beautiful walks to be had around the area if that's your thing and 15 minutes drive tops to the town, will 100% come back with girly friends not my cry baby husband, so embarrassing eating breakfast on ya own because he having TANTRUM upstairs and he didn't even say bye, sorry... but thanks again for the very warm welcome x
In all its beauty and charm, this is the quintessential English country pub. However, The Nights Table, formerly The Travellers Rest has much more to offer than just the location. Fantastically locally sourced food, that is cooked to perfection and served with grace and enthusiasm. The selection of beers alone, is solely well worth the journey up the moor and the views from the windows sublime!!
Food served all day, drinks served till 1 in the morning. Just needed to shout to get their attention but it worked out in the end!
Great location and such a friendly pub. Who knew they were open til 2am on Tuesdays for karaoke! Ample parking too
