We went to the Koffee Shack for breakfast and will definitely not be going back there when we return to Burleigh Heads. It was the worst meal we have had during our stay. We both had cheesy scrambled eggs which were very rubbery and sprinkled...with feta, definitely not appetizing. This with served with a very thin slice of sourdough toast and a small roasted tomato. The coffee was just ok. We were then charged a 15% surcharge because of a public holiday.
cool warm coffee! When I asked for a hot coffee, they brought one who was at the ranch of the burned milk. very small cup, no decent size, calculated $5. the breakfast was not hot either. I didn't want chorizo and asked for avo instead. I forgot a quarter of an avos and they accused me of an extra $4. service very black. don't come back! many other caffes close, I suggest that everyone else would be better.
Hadn’t visited since I walked out due to no service a few years ago. Decided to give it another go and found that service was a priority. Orders were taken and coffees arrived relatively quickly, as did water when we requested it. Coffee was well...made and milk perfectly textured. Seating under the trees in the street was particularly pleasant. Food we saw going past looked good.
My boyfriend and me had breakfast at the coffee shack, and that's what the place represents a shack.... Tables were not clean, dirty glasses, the food was horrible and burnt. The bruscetta fritter with bacon over cooked and dry. The French toast was still soggy...in the middle and cold berries in syrup. We will not be back to the shack. Not good enough. Book a table now
Amazing! Came in to town wanting a casual dinner and found the pop up ‘Rhum Shack’ koffee shack by day). Loved it all, ordered an epic pina colada $12 happy hour) and the tastiest authentic Caribbean spread including goat curry, tender fish n corn salad...plus Jamaican rice. Soo tasty n super friendly service!
For the past few years we have been enjoying the great coffee here during our winter stay in the sunshine state. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the coffee the best around, in fact so good we buy beans to take home with us. Will be back next year!
go from the main street and come here. bacon and egg in Turkish and a coffee was a bargain. we had the most amazing service and it was perfect. would we have stayed here longer, would I have been back the next day...for more eating!
Don't go here! There is so many nice places around Burleigh. This one is a waste of your money. The food is average and the owner is very self righteous and rude for no reason. Book a table now
Food was tasty but expensive for what you got. Drinks were nicely made. On a whole the service was excellent and food came out very quickly which was impressive
