We had a great experience at the Silver Spoon Bistro for several reasons, but the main reason was the exceptional service. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even when we arrived with a large group. The food was also top-notch and tasted incredibly fresh. We tried three different dishes - the lamb shank with mash, pork cutlet, and gemfish with couscous - and each one was delicious. The prices were reasonable and they accept card payments. We will definitely be coming back again.
Well.. it's not often you get to rave about duck.. but the SILVER SPOON does duck amazingly well.VERY WELL. in fact, the service is friendly, and with amazing appetizing cheese boards, and desserts, and a wonderful wine selection this place has a lot to offer.While I did not try anything other than the antipasto and cheese, plus duck and chicken saltimbocco I would return for the duck anytime.
This is a fantastic spot for dinner while enjoying a football game. The ambiance was excellent, and we dined in the outdoor area, which was pleasant. The interior looked lovely and cozy as well. There were eight of us, and everyone was pleased with their meals. I ordered a 400g steak, and it was outstanding—cooked perfectly, accompanied by fries and two delicious sauces.
Went today for lunch here with a living social voucher. Great food above average pub food. Good size meals for good prices. Walnut and chocolate brownie with ice cream a must. As well as tomato and feta bruchetta. Had the seared salmon for mains. Overall will be back here with friends even though we live 45 mins away. Must book for dinner on Friday/sat nite. Since I went on a weekday, it wasn't very crowded. The interior of the restaurant is well-designed and has been recently renovated. There was some air conditioning, but it didn't seem to be running at full capacity. The service was friendly, and they also have a parking area, which helps alleviate potential parking issues during busier times.
I had a fantastic lunch today with the green Thai chicken curry, which was a great value at just $13. It was delicious, and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere that was also wheelchair accessible.
Great place for a mid-week dinner. Staff are friendly and the kitchen is open relatively late. One of the better placed around here.
And the fried onion rings were great too. Plus it's in the heart of a developing art district...Chippendale. Well worth a visit. Book a table now
Staff were lovely and there was lots of choice on the menu. Food did not disappoint, really lovely place for dinner and drinks.
