at the weekend it becomes a nightclub. karaoke all day an early evening mix of old, great fun and meet others. Bar/lounge over door. disabled toilets, bar staff a manager excellent. cheap drinks and cocktails. large screens for games and sofas in the outside area. in the night 4 different clubs on every stage different music. on the bottom, if they stay a reward during the day, when they exchange it in the club, they must pay for [Re-entry]
On a weekday it's free entry whereas Friday Saturday and bank holidays are paid entry. Alcohol is cheap but have had many issues with quality and taste. There are live DJS some nights where other nights they have a premixed recording playing. The lighting and atmosphere varies depending on people out. At the time of this review they have sky sports and are open to 2 30am most days I believe. Overall not perfect but I will be coming back.
decent place for a decent night out can be quite muggy, but different rooms for all different types of scenes and people good popular music played all the time and can spend the majority of the night here it is not too expensive and it is probably one of the best places in newport. several bars, so waiting loops are not long and cheap enter. they are also very decent to help other wise as the homeless as it snows.
I met unexpectedly with an old friend and the courtyard was the pub chosen to go. I'm very happy we left. it was on a Friday and karaoke was up, not that I sing, but there was a real talent there. also on the plus side. the plates of the sandwiches were distributed in the pub to all, whether they sing or not! a very good place to visit and also really good prices. in any case a place to visit.
