This is a fantastic family-friendly pub to visit after a relaxing day at West Wittering Beach. The staff greeted us with warm smiles upon our arrival and accommodated our two dogs by seating us in the garden, where they stayed entertained on the climbing frame. The food was excellent! I particularly enjoyed the burger, which was delicious and held together by a skewer in the middle. My wife had a ham and mushroom pizza, which was not like your average store-bought pizza - it was hand-made, stone-fired, and fresh. Had a cracking lunch here with friends and family. The beer garden is great, lots of seating, a small kids play area with summer tunes and friendly staff providing a warm and welcoming environment. The food was fantastic. I had the winter salad with salmon which oozed flavour, balance and style. A Mediterranean dish which was as good as anything I’ve had at ottolenghi. Dont be fooled by the name as it’s lovely on a warm spring day too. The chicken and chips and chicken burger looked excellent. It's very rare for my family of adult foodies to be satisfied....all at once, and not just satisfied but thrilled with 5 different selections, well done! You will forever be a reference point to future dining out for us all, and we are already wondering when we can come back up for another holiday and pass you each time, thank you, absolutely delicious, like beyond! After experiencing disappointment in the holiday hotspot areas by the sea along the coast we were so relieved to find you and give dining outline last shot and it paid off! Lovely late lunch in a dog friendly pub. Really nice people that made the atmosphere great. Service was great especially as it was at the table and the dogs loved the chips. Happily go again and would recommend for family groups although would recommend you book.

The food was delicious when we visited on Locals Night (no need to actually be a local) and enjoyed a three-course meal of freshly cooked dishes for £22 per person, along with excellent service.
