I was a regular visitor of this caffe pre covid. loved either on the bike, or for a channel to foot in all weather. I went back today to find no interiors, all takeaway style and food presentation, and had to. on the door order, card only payment and must sit under temporary type event accommodation. they are also called to collect their order via a loudspeaker and microphone. that means that all the few seconds will be bombed out an order number beyond the seating area, which is annoying and disturbing to make the once peaceful outdoor seating for a much less relaxed visit! we went there for lunch after a channel sidewalk, but for a (reduced quality coffee compared to what it was earlier)....

we loved to come into this caffe, and understand the need to close the inside seats and reduced menu while covid, but any caffe we have recently been has inside seats so why not this caffe? the menu is of...what it should be earlier if they want to eier, speck, sausage and buzz, then they will love this caffe (as long as it does not rain, but the quality and selection of the cake is not what it was earlier, and the number of customers seems to reduce every time we visit. I have spoken today with the canal and rivers Trust-Referat and he said most cyclists and wanderer seemed to go in the other towpath to be the other caffe! it will be a real shame if this caffe is going full, but I fear if t...

This used to be one of the very best cafes in the area sadly since the change of hands a few years ago it has very much gone downhill. We gave it another chance recently but were once again left disappointed. The service on...offer is no frills' to say the very least, and one is left feeling that the staff have done you a favour in serving you exceptionally mediocre takeaway coffee in disposable cups. This is a stark contrast to the warm, welcoming, and cosy environment the cafe used to provide, with an excellent choice of home bakes and freshly cooked food. Lovely location, but very limited menu, indifferent staff, bad coffee, and bought-in cakes with a dry, rubbery texture.
