Quaint little place, cafe style, no need for your Sunday best here. The guy who met us at the door was terrific and read us very well and helped with the menu. Over-priced for what you actually get, but authentic none-the-less if want to escape...to somewhere like Tel Aviv or Muscat. Would’ve stayed for dessert but didn’t quite appreciate the English waitress standing there watching me eat my meal. Seriously, she literally just stood there, leaning on the counter, back to the wall watching me eat my dinner. I made eye contact with here several times and she barely looked away. WTF! Trust me I’m a 100kg of flab and I was chewing with my mouth closed, there was nothing to see. Has never happen...

We visited this place Saturday night. It is small place with minimum decor with authentic Israeli street food. We had Malt nonalcoholic drinks and lemonade. It was fresh and tasty. Then we’ve got eggplant with tahini sauce. Tasty, but a little bit expensive for the...size of portion. After this dish we had hummus with cauliflowers and humus with mushrooms. Wow. Delicious and filling. We also had schnitzel in challah bread , misbacha in pita and halloumi. Very tasty. For desert we choose malabe middle eastern panacotta). Good restaurant. Definitely will visit it again.

Amazing food in a friendly casual environment! We had lunch here and we were not disappointed. The lady looking after us made some great recommendations and made us feel very welcome. We took a bottle of wine which they kept cold in the fridge for...us. The hummus was the best we’ve had. A great recommendation from 3AW, traveling down from Brisbane and we would absolutely recommend and come back to. Thank you!

We went out for a walk in South Melbourne and saw this great cafe on the sunny side of Park St that looked very welcoming. The choices were great and the Sabich in the pan (mine without the chili and harissa hot additions) was terrific....A very generous size that I couldn’t finish with good pitta bread. Coffee was very good too. We’ll be back! Book a table now

eating is wonderful, the team is simply beautiful, they will think they are back in jerusalem. the hummus is particularly fabulous. this delicious food has also been provided for collection as a take, the Shabbat menu is a family advantage here, but it is a joy. to eat. brilliant!

we were told about the place and came to try a real Israeli food. the eating was given in large portions, but the place looks far neglected and the Arabic music fill the air in very high volumes to think that it could be in Cairo or damascus.
