if they are looking for a relaxing 4* wellness and hotel experience, they will continue to search. location is amazing, fortunately we spent our days on foot instead of in this hotel. the view from the balcony of the juliies is stunning, but outside the hotel is covered with spinnwebs. on bath mat, towels, face cloth, bed linen and spa route. hand towels were so thin that they were transparent as wet, not fluffy at all. booked spa for the jubilee evening, jacuzzi was good, but dirty and 1/4 of the jets didn't work. view from the restroom (only an empty room with chairs) was great, but the window was covered with vogelpoo, sprinkles and sprinkles. was reminded 3 times that there was a complai...

we were there for two nights and were blessed with the weather. the location is amazing and beautiful. Even if they were fully booked, we hardly saw other guests and enjoyed us at the private hole they own. we need to agree to all... previous reviews when it comes to the service. in the morning we realized that the shower was broken. when I told the owner, the shower was offered to me by the reception in the communal dressing room/WC. it was not acceptable when we paid for a room that was advertised with a spa shower. there was a single shower cabin without light, between three of us, so we had to wait for each other to shower, old towels in dusty tubs. we then became a deck with a 4 seater whirlpool on it and. a wood sauna hut shown. this was the sum of the “Spa facilities”. two of the nozzles in the whirlpool did not work. the view from the room where the lunch was served was breathtaking, but the room resembled a community center with all the equipment of the local clubs that were stacked for the storage! the two curly light lunch was basic soup and salad and tee or coffee. the afternoon sessions of guided meditation and the sound bath were like something from a funny sketch - with the teacher in the g...

Looking for Aboyne Golf course, we turned up at the Lodge on the loch golf centre.....not very welcoming at all , manager was quite rude and off hand....wont be back
