we have rented a bungalow in curbridge for a week and found this beautiful pub, as well we used it twice! it had a roaring log burner and we were made very welcome by the host/cook. the menu is short (what in my view is a good thing is nice freshly cooked eating the first night I had the delicious moule frit, a huge portion of tasty mushles in a beautiful cream sauce and today I had an excellent homemade burger. other member of the group enjoyed an excellent lamming and handcattered shellspänen. the service was friendly and attentive and I lived near, I would certainly be a more regular! I hope the locals support him or lose it!

We went to this restaurant for a meal with family friends. They had run out of some of the beers on tap, the toilets were not well-maintained (soap dispenser broken and trash bin full), there were weeds in front of the restaurant, and the tables looked outdated. However, the food was decent. The staff could be a bit friendlier, especially considering the restaurant was not very busy.

we visited with friends and family and enjoyed two beautiful evening meals. the pub is warm and welcoming and the host and the staff were friendly and accommodating. the food was perfectly cooked and delicious. each evening there were smaller menu settings that highlight the fresh of the diners. I would certainly visit again if we were in the opposite.
