Went along on Sunday, First impression that the pub is a bit run down. The tables and chairs down stairs look like they came from a 1970s school canteen, not comfortable, the tables wobble so you have to hold in to your pint. The roof terrace however is a vast improvement, was enjoyable sitting in the sun, having a quiet beer. In the main, the service was good. The food came out fast. Unfortunately the food wasn 't fantastic. The veg in the roast was massively undercooked. And you don 't get a decent portion on your plate. It 's expensive enough, then they add a £4.95 service charge on top.. The beers are on the pricey side , but to be expected these days. Two of the staff behind the bar wer...

My friends and I came to the Napier after seeing a house music event advertised for Saturday night. We’d heard great things about the previous event and were looking forward to it. When we arrived, there was a taxi parked opposite the venue playing loud music, which had attracted a large crowd outside and made things feel quite chaotic. At one point, we stepped outside to meet a friend and were then refused re-entry. Security had stopped people coming back into the venue, including those who had nothing to do with the incident or the crowd gathered around the taxi. Once inside, the music was excellent and the DJs were great. Unfortunately, from what we witnessed, security came across as rude...

What a great pub. Shame I don 't live locally, this is exactly my kind of place. Little run down, live-in atmosphere, although first floor gives more like a dining vibes, there is too. It 's one massive place: rooftop terrace, with and without roof, garden on the back, mentioned first floor and varied spaces and alcoves on the ground floor. It must be great experience visiting during sundown or night when all lights are on. Cool and no brainer service, lady working there suggested yum dog and it was good, with 'snap ' factor too, so proper sausage. They even had Appetite tissues, well prepared. Sauce reminded me of 1000 Islands. There is even old Banksy art preserved and lots of details whic...

Nice place with plenty of energy and a lovely rooftop. The burger was full of... harmony. Well composed and balanced. Good beef, delicate taste of pickles, smooth sauce. Portion was just enough. If you are very hungry add fries. For me it was exactly what I needed to enjoy it without being overwhelmed by any aspect. The soundtrack fits the space perfectly! Book a table now

Favourite pub in Hackney Wick. Doesn’t have the canal but the rooftop is an absolute vibe.
