This is a lovely pub. Been coming to it on and off for over 20 years. The management has always been quirky, a bit different, and that's why the place is what it is. IMO there's nothing much better than sitting in the beer garden...looking over the millpond towards Thorney Island. In the old days, used to have a wander around the antiques centre next door first. These are difficult times for the hospitality industry and this is a great pub serving pub grub. If you want fancy, over-priced haute cuisine arranged in a circle of foam, there are places near the harbour which will oblige.

We were a group of 23 family that had Sunday lunch at The Lord Raglan. We pre-ordered our food, which was completely acceptable as there were so many of us. The food was plentiful, hot, all came out together and delicious. Everyone of us enjoyed...our meals. I am very happy to recommend the pub, the staff and the food. Well done The Lord Raglan we will be coming back.

we visited the pub like a quick drink stop, but saw the food and decided to eat the best in the city by far, personal are friendly and cook is amazing, we had the steak and muscheln and my partner said the muscheln were some. the best, we will definitely come back to lunch in the garden when heated, highly recommend
