Warning anyone who wishes to book out their party room. We knew there was a £1500 minimum spend. I had spent over £500 already on the room and a drinks package so this meant the night was expected to reach less than £1000. Our 45 guests drank through the night from 7pm-1am with some ordering food, given the maths would require £20ish to be spent per head this was not an issue- there were a lot of drinks! After waiting for food for 2.5 hours with no explanation until we complained, I would not go back to this restaurant. Our waitress initially ignored us when we tried to order, and then told us we couldn't order yet and had to wait. The delay was blamed on the chef being absent, but for a busy Saturday night, you would expect a backup plan to be in place for such a large number of reservations. The manager tried to make up for the delay by extending our bottomless drinks and helping with the bill, but the wait and frustration ruined the rest of our evening.
