(1) Hot cross bun (6 for $12.50)It was still very hot (just out of the oven) but they put them in a plastic bag - food safety concern! They had cake carton tray for sweets, so how come they do not use it and put in a brown bag so that it does not sweat. On top of this situation, it tasted and smelled some kind of milk products that is not quite right. Worst hot cross bun ever!(2) Very limited selection - only 1 sourdough bread which is 100% organicIf you are paying $8.00 a loaf, it should be organic, if I compare to other organic bakeries. It was so light in weight. Good organic bread is heavier.(3) Burned croissantIt is $4.00 but it was burned on the top and did not have enough layers nor n...

Having been a regular since they opened, I have been amazed that they are incapable of building their inventory to any meaningful level to meet demand. Today I went in for a sandwich at 10:30 am and they were already sold out. Needless to say,...I do NOT believe this is good enough and the owners should be ashamed of themselves for missing out on sales opportunities whilst also frustrating Customers. Congratulations on being so successful, but being complacent in your business model will eventually could lead to ruin when the newer, better Lost Loaf comes along...
there are not many items you can judge a baker/pastry chef by more than a plain butter croissant. I have eaten just about every one of them in south Australia and tried a few in paris. As one of my favourite pastries I have high...expectations. I can say the plain butter croissant here is the BEST I have had. It is my comparison for any other i try. I highly recommend going here just to have one so you can appreciate what can be produced by someone who cares about what you eat as a customer.
I've been here s few times. $8.00 loaves use quality flour and seeds. Nice and crusty bread. French sticks are amazing also. Bread is put into a nice thick paper bag-not thin or plastic. Prices-what you would expect to pay for artisan bread in a small sa business in a niche hip location i.e. Plant 4.Range-not as large as a bakery but that's fine - that's not their service offering. Small range = quality goods. Book a table now
This quaint little restaurant has incredibly friendly staff and serves absolutely amazing Sourdough bread. It's the best I've had in Adelaide. I used to believe that croissants in Paris were unmatched, but after reading the reviews on this page, I'll definitely be trying them on my next visit.
Very impressed with their wonderful rye bread and other baked goods. People who winge so much like the review about living o/s should maybe consider baking their own bread and then they don't need to complain so much! Keep up the amazing products, which we travel one hour for!
Tucked away in plant4 is a local gem. The best sourdough I've ever tasted, croissants are buttery and light and the rest of the baked treats are all great. The owner is nice to chat to and all the regular staff offer good service.
I've been here for a few years and we love it so much. the sowed sourded is the best I had all over the world, award-winning baguette and the children love all baked. sandwiches sell quickly be so early to get some. Book a table now
I always have a great time at this restaurant every time I visit. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. The bread is baked fresh daily and the crème brûlée donut is out of this world delicious!

"Had dinner here twice with friends, would not come again. Food was ok, but real terrible service. Not a single smile from any of Waitresses, served us with bad attitude the whole night. Also the food took ages to come, FYI we were their first group of customers for that evening, so don't understand what was the hold up."
