This is a very nice place to visit for drinks or a meal. It is situated at Elizabeth Key, right on the Swan River. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is quite comfortable even on colder days as there are heaters under the umbrellas. The view is quite pleasant. There are other restaurants in the area as well so if you wish not to have a meal here, it is also a good place for pre or after dinner drinks.
We visited this bar in August 2017 its situated right adjacent the quayside in Perth. The name of the bar refers to a local seabird but also has other connotations !! Our visit took place during the winter but the bar offers splendid outdoor and indoor facilities. The food & service was very good combined with a great selection of local& international beers. I can highly recommend the Guinness which was perfectly served.
This bar is awesome from a view and vibe perspective. Great food and a great selection of beers. You can even bring your boat up close by for a couple of drinks. However the over the top security can quickly dampen a visit. Whilst not affecting our party directly, it did appear the security were over the top and quite intrusive. It created a poor atmosphere and we decided to leave soon after.
Went here for a couple of drinks before a concert and it was great. We sat out on the open deck on the river and even though it was night and July, it wasn't cold. A good wine list, nice food with great oysters. I'm looking forward to going back in summer and having a few wines and dinner. Good value for money and a really relaxed atmosphere Book a table now
Popped into for a drink with a friend on a cold Perth winter's night. Nice ambience although outdoor area has several tv screens so probably very different at weekends or later in the evening. Great view over the watee and a good range of beers. Big food portions that looked good. Friendly staff.
Stopped here for a drink prior to going to the Perth Convention Centre, and stayed for a meal. The view of the Swan River at night is beautiful. The outdoor heating is cosy. The food was excellent. We look forward to returning the next time we stay in Perth.
Good pub grub and service. It's a good meeting place for friends especially in summer , durning the winter it can be a bit cold but there are seats and tables inside
