We stopped in on a road trip and really enjoyed our lunch here. It's popular with locals and we could see why. When you enter, it looks very small in the bar area. But go down the hall on the left side and there are some dining rooms in the back. We got fast and friendly service and loved the good selection of veggies. They have daily specials and then you choose your veggies and your bread. We were there on a Monday and enjoyed their meatloaf. The fried okra and greens were both excellent. I hope to get back to Knoxville to try their Chicken and Dumplings one day.
CASH ONLY. We asked three locals where to go for brunch and they each started off by asking you got cash? No joke: check the menu to see whivh days they do chicken dumplings. They make it from scratch and we saw locals come in for their to-go orders. The taste is worth it! Our waitress explained 60-70 orders go out the door each time.
Our food was so amazing!! The burger was so juicy and the maters and onions was so fresh! Definitely will be back 100/10 recommend
