Went for breakfast here as we had been a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. Apparently the business has changed ownership since. We were greeted to several empty stainless steel display cabinets and one with a few sickly looking cafe items under it. The AstroTurf and neon lights in the cabinet didn't help. While the cafe was relatively empty, the noise in the place made it nearly impossible to talk to the person next to you. Very disappointing :( visited this place on previous visits to burleigh and was always very happy with the food. Not today :( service average. Food- some salads tasted like the fridge and couldn't be eaten, others were tasteless. Vegan burger came out with cheese on it, when taken back to the kitchen they were going to take off the cheese and return it. Asked for a complete new burger and received a mediocre flavoured replacement ....very disappointed.
Stopped by on the way home to purchase a wrap that I purchase from here a lot! But decided to try something very new, since becoming vegan I haven't gone near pies as they pretty much always contain a type of cheese or sauce with diary in it! The guy that served me suggested the ( I don't remember the correct name ) but vegan pie with pumpkin and lentils in it and a gluten free pastry! Seriously worth the $6 best pie ever!!!!
I loved my acai bowl and vegan pie (yummy pastry). Service was a bit brought and slow and hubby didn't get everything he ordered and was a bit unimpressed with his breakfast and the total cost. Great to have vegan and vegetarian options and staff were friendly.

Very disappointing lunch, small selection of salads available, very bland tasting food, ran out of salad dressing, way to expensive for what you got, sadly gone downhill from last visit. I won't hurry back.
Great food choices. Guilt free pleasures. Nice to have vegetarian choices with brilliant service. It was nice that the Magic Apple was so close to a fast food restaurant to give the diner a real choice.
Magic Apple at Burleigh Beach, Gold Coast, has been a stand out restaurant for decades; and it just keeps getting better and better. Try the Lasagna and Pumpkin Cheesecake ~ YUM
Nice vegetarian food, but portions are small and prices are very high. Much better value at places like Govindas and Cardamom Pod

This is a really great, friendly cafe with an excellent selection of vegetarian and vegan food, to both eat in and take away.
We had 2 whole meal bun falafel burgers with salad and hommus and they were delicious! Very big and very satisfying!
