I got a call from Tom George to tell me they wouldn't serve brunch during the summer months, only dinner. The hostess was very nice and asked me to postpone dinner which I did. The hostess also offered my group a round of drinks for the inconvenience. So I arrived at the restaurant at 6pm on Sunday because I wanted to celebrate Father's Day with my family and the restaurant was closed. We were very surprised and disappointed. The restaurant didn't call the next day and I decided not to eat there again. So I went to the LA Chapter at the Ace Hotel on Sunday and we had a lovely dinner that I knew I would because I've been there before. I don't know whose responsibility it is at the open table...
I don't usually leave reviews for restaurants, but this place was excellent! Came here for my birthday with a reservation for ten people. We got to the restaurant early and sat at the bar while our table was set. The bartenders were the best and created and recommended some great drinks. There were a couple of extra people showing up and the server was super accommodating and pushed another table with ours so they could sit with us. Can't say enough praise for the service and bartenders. Highly recommended! The ambience was great as was the food and drinks. Will be back and have already recommended it to friends.
Shrimp starter was a disappointment. Pizza was damp. Truffle fries were excellent. The service was great. There was no food. My husband and I enjoyed happy hour and brunch and looked forward to bringing my daughter here for dinner. It was okay, but plenty of room for improvement.
Very good food and creative cocktails in an interesting space. A special highlight for us was the exceptionally good gluten-free pizza. Really good crust that was actually bread-like, crispy on the edges and not moist or flat in the middle. Bravo!

Celebrate a birthday with a Sunday brunch. Everything was wonderful; They brought a flour-free chocolate cake for free to top it off.
