Discovered this place while on a day trip. It's a traditional café and tea room in a delightful 17th century town house, conveniently located on the high street. Cosy downstairs rooms with wooden beams and an original fireplace, and outside tables in a little courtyard at the back. The staff were both welcoming and friendly. They serve sandwiches, soup and light snacks as well as cakes and teas. Ordered a cheese and onion quiche with jacket potato and salad and a pot of tea. Service was quick, the food well cooked and the salad quite special with grapes and orange slices as well as the usual salad ingredients!
