We are always happy with the food and service at Meat Wine Co. Today was no exception. Our wait staff tended to us often yet without intruding. Front desk staff were also lovely and very welcoming. Our food was incredible as always. Our steak was cooked to perfection. There were many options to choose from the vast menu. It’s always lovely when staff remember which person ordered each dish, especially when some orders are almost identical, eg, same steak, cooked the same way, both with salad, yet each had a different sauce. Really disappointed with out recent dinner. Booked a month in advance for our anniversary however we were sat at a table on the main walkway and right next to the server's station upstairs. We felt like we were in the way of the staff most of the night. While the staff were lovely, we had 5 different staff members stop by the table with no coordination of our previous interactions. Not quite sure why they ask for food allergies or special occasion notes when booking as each of the staff asked the same questions with no change in how they interacted with us. Overall, while the food was nice the experience was on par with a local pub and not worth the $400 bill.
This was a repeat visit to Meat and Wine Co and it was just a great as the first visit. The staff weee attentive, the Monte rib eye 350g was cooked medium rare to perfection- and melted in your mouth. The Chicken breast and Greek salad were also great. We will be back !
Once again an awesome experience from start to finish. Wanted to impress friends from interstate, fantastic outcome. We will certainly be back.
