This struggling venue contacted us to run Speed Dating Events there. We ran there for about a year. The complaints about lack of service and poor quality food began to increase. When we notified them, (Anna Hendon) said they would look into it and improve. It got better after one or two events, then would drop off quickly again.We had a agreement on costing, which ran well for about a year. Only a few days out before one of our sold out events they deceitfully tell us they are going to charge an extra $300. After the event, they tried to over charge us for another event which we never even ran (they just made it up) then without contacting me the Marketing Manager Cindy Chen charged my credi...
Various visits to this venue have proven its true versatility. Functions after a long day in a seminar with nibbles, twice proving the excellent service. Together with an exceptional restaurant at reasonable prices make it the ideal place to taken clients.I think due to the fact is is a hotel, with the restaurant tucked away, it is perahps understated. The service is exceptional across the board. The bar is busy on a Friday at knock off, however, bar staff always attentive and very efficient, often lacking in Perth!!! Welldone guys.It is not often I ever give an excellent to a Perth venue. This is very well deserved...! ;-)
the dining room here is suited to a high tea as it has all the old ceiling roses, cornices etc and has been kept beautifully to remind you of a time gone by. good service and atmosphere add to the occasion. teas were nice as was all of the savoury and sweet pastries etc. only the scones were a let down. they need improvement to meet the quality of the many other 'high tea' venues
I was recommended beef steak in this restaurant & bar from friends living in Perth. I like the bar than the restaurant. Tables on the sidewalk out of the bar is also good. Many peoples enjoyed beer, wine and good meals after 5 o'clock.

We went here in the weekend for a Sunday breakfast as we had a voucher for them. Both of us were very happy with the food that was brought out. The only complaint, I ordered poached eggs, they brought out fried.
Sat in the Bar and enjoyed drinks with friends followed by a steak (recommended by friends) which was a hit. They also enjoyed the Parma & Chicken salad. Can't fault anything, a very good Pub.
Good old Perth pub currently closed for renovation. Drinks were good value and pizzas were good in the bar but you sensed the love had gone out of the place prior to the upcoming renos !!
I had dinner and breakfast in this Hotel. Both were quite filling and well presented, with lots of choice, and reasonably priced. Service was good and reasonably quick.

I only ordered a main as I was in between work meetings. I had the lamb, which was fantastic. All well presented and came out in a timely manner.
