My daughter had her wedding here all day/night. Very disappointed with the venue/owner. The buffet provided was fit for a childs party. Paid extra for a seafood platter, my god £50 and was seriously disgusted in the poor selection on the platter for the price. Seen better platters on marketplace for half the price. My daughter was allowed in the night before to set up. They virtually had everything set up then to be told at 7.50pm (we had till 8pm to finish) that we weren't allowed to have anything fixed to the wall.....we had a backdrop and balloon arch already set up. AMAZING PARTY! My partner and I are incredibly grateful to the Miners staff for making our engagement party perfect on Friday. The venue was beautifully arranged, and the bar staff were such wonderful people. A special shout-out to Richy, who was in charge and ensured we had an unforgettable night! We can’t wait to plan our next event here, as we will be booking all of our future celebrations at this venue. You were all incredible! 10 stars!
Fantastic party venue! We celebrated my wife's 70th birthday there last night, and I couldn't be happier with our experience. The staff were exceptional and truly went above and beyond for us. There was a wide selection of drinks at reasonable prices, and the buffet was excellent. I can't recommend The Miner's enough—thank you to Richard, Gemma, and the entire team for making our celebration so special!
I will never return. Our group of nine had a reservation for tonight, but when we arrived, we found children running around, lying on the chairs, and making a lot of noise. The table was extremely sticky, and the cutlery was dirty. We waited a long time to be served drinks and to place our meal orders, but no one came to assist us. It was truly disappointing, and I definitely won't be coming back.

Ordered a take out Sunday lunch today and it did not disappoint! Beef was absolutley gorgeous and rest of the dinner was just as nice. Would definitley recommend for a traditional home made dinner.
What can I say? This bar has to be the most expensive place I've ever been for soft drinks. They charge the same price for a small glass as others do for a pint!
Went to party there was told they put 50p on the price of drinks for party's also 10 15 min wait in queue +drinks were warm
It's disappointing when all the draft lagers and beers run out at 8:30 on a Saturday night.
