The Nags Head - Table reservation

I used to visit this restaurant with my friends every Saturday before Covid. Unfortunately, my friends had trouble walking on the uneven surfaces to get to the toilets, so we had to find a new place to meet. It's a shame because the breakfast at this restaurant is really good. However, if you are a serving member of the military or a Veteran, stop by on a Saturday morning for a chance to chat, enjoy a delicious breakfast, and share some laughs. The company is pretty great too.

My experience dining at this restaurant on a Sunday evening was rather disappointing. I decided to order the Woodland Chicken dish, however, I found that it lacked flavor, including the bland mushroom sauce. The chicken itself was overcooked and tough, making it difficult to cut even with a knife. The vegetables were also overcooked. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lackluster. Despite this, I did find the service to be good and friendly.

Great local pub! Really good Sunday roast. Excellent value for 2 or 3 courses. My husbands family was visiting and so we all tried the Sunday roast. The bar staff are always very friendly and courteous. The food including starters and dessert were really tasty and great value. Will definitely come again. One of the best pubs in town, we need to support our local now Wetherspoons is in town.

as i say a first for me hear and i review how we find them on the day we are there we was shown to a table and given menus and found that it is a very nice clean place well set out and the staff we found was ok we had a short wait for our meal and it was all cooked fresh and still nice and hot

This is the best place for home cooked food in Bourne . The chef is amazing everything is cooked to a high standard Always a warm welcome
