The Nest Cafe Crows Nest

We went in for a snack and ordered a coffee and cheese cake, it took a while for the coffee to arrive and was almost cold. After waiting for a long while I had to go to the counter to ask for the cheese cake,...which I noticed had been removed from the cabinet and was sitting on the bench, no plate. The cheese cakes arrived. My wife was looking at a painting she wanted to buy, and approached the lady at the counter. Need cash she said., can’t pay via card, because they are painted by a local artist. Well we did not buy. There should be a way that a card payment could be used. Not the friendliest places

Our family get takeaway from here every few months. Each time I’ve ordered a salad sandwich with no onion and each time it’s come with onion. I actually have an intolerance to raw onion and despite removing it from the sandwich, I have still suffered...the effects due to the cut onion touching the rest of the sandwich. Not good enough! Intolerances and allergies can be serious and it shouldn’t be this hard! If you have an allergy or intolerance check your takeaway before leaving, and repeat the seriousness of your request to the lady.

With some pavement seating out the front, we visited The Nest cafe for morning coffee. Coffee was OK a good selection of gluten free cakes was available: I had a date loaf

Great coffee and milkshakes. Lots of goodies to choose from. Light lunch available. Good place for coffee and cake or lunch. Plenty of seating available.

Spent the long weekend at this cute little aubergeNot only is it beautiful and cozy but the view is impeccable.
