Randomly stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. It was not crowded so it was easy to get a table for two. Our server was a very lovely woman whose timing was always impeccable. The portions were large and the food was fresh. I was able to get a barbecue meal that was being freshly grilled outside. It wasn?t the best BBQ, or even close, it was just, OK? Terrible Food! It's been years that I have been to this restaurant, that was good many years back.. The food is NOT good anymore. I purchased the lamb fried rice, the lamb was extremely hard and a lot of bones instead of meat. The meat was definitely very old! The broccoli and garlic tasted like they added a ton of sugar in it, nasty tasting food. Watered-down drinks. They also have a tacky posting at every table, stating their is a 20% charge for tips on all dine in checks.
If you are looking for Trini style Curry Ente..this is definitely the place to go. The duck was well seasoned and very delicious. There are potatoes in the curry that I am not sure how I am, but the curry duck and the curry itself was very good. I'm with dhalpurie roti... That was also very good.. It was huge... I shared it and we had extras to go home! The waitresses were very nice and the place was decent.
I wish I could say this place was great BUT, my family and I almost broke ALL our teeth eating the chicken Fried rice. The chicken WITH bone was chopped and cooked into the food. The fish soup almost choked us because of the bones. It's impossible to enjoy food WITH KILLER BONES. I gave 2 stars because the fried salmon was ok. The dhal was so light and thin. Ordered takeout today which included 7- Flavor Che Chi Kai Chicken and Pepperlicous Chicken. When I got home and began eating I realized it was fish instead of chicken. Not sure if it was a mistake or actually part of the menu but could have been serious if someone had a seafood allergy. MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR ORDERS BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!!
I celebrated my graduation today at this great restaurant. happy to say that it was a wonderful evening and the venue was obviously one of the reasons for the fertile event. The waiters worked in a very nice style, the kitchen was great and my mates were very happy. We will definitely visit again for more cheerful events. Thank you.
I often dine in this great restaurant in the year! This is my favorite restaurant for dinner. I often visit this place. The meals are great, the staff are professional and the payment is decent. I enjoy eating in this place for a decent meal.
last night was our first time we visited this restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last time. We had a good time with the courteous service, with the superb cooking and wine and with the comfortable price. We will surely go back there soon. Book a table now
This is a must try when visiting little Guyana. Food was very good and service was welcoming. I had the curry goat. And will be back for the other varieties of curry they have to offer!
