I have always had a good experience at this curry restaurant until my most recent visit. It seems like there may have been a change in ownership because the quality of the food has declined in my opinion. Both my partner and daughter ordered the lamb balti, but they were disappointed with the dishes. My partner found his to be spicier than usual, more like a madras than a medium balti, and my daughter's dish was just a thick brown sauce. The chicken in my curry was tough, and the naan bread was not cut into portions as it usually is, with half of it burnt. Dined in a group of 8. Started very promising, poppadoms and pickles were nice, main courses all seemed to be a smooth paste with just a few chunks of meat in it, tasted ok, but not amazing, meat wasn't particularly tender. Bread was OK, but again, small portion. We were not even offered the dessert menu and the staff were particularly disinterested, I don't think anyone checked to see if the food was OK, we had to go and ask if we wanted a drink, and not a thank you or a good night at the end. A group of 10 of us went to this restaurant on a Friday night. They seated us at a great table and the food was fantastic. The service and staff were also wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
