We booked a last minute family meal this evening and we weren’t disappointed! What a beautiful pub, with the friendliest of staff. Mickie, Abbie and Sue are definitely the ‘dream team!’ They couldn’t do enough, bringing drinks over to our table as and when our glasses were empty and generally being very attentive. The food was amazing and great value for money too. The decor inside the pub is very original and quite obviously well thought out and there are some quirky features the door handles are all spades and some of the lights are made from galvanised buckets. I always think the loos are a good indicator of cleanliness and I can honestly say that the loos are the cleanest I’ve ever seen...

I can say that the current owners are absolutely outstanding, firm experienced yet could put Basil Faulty to shame. I have read reviews and can openly say if you treat the owners and staff inappropriately, then you would deserve what response you received. In response to previous review did this person actually visit the New Inn? The landlady has a huge personality and sense of humour , all children are welcome at this establishment if well-behaved, however we all experence children running riot especially in the garden. This is a pub not Mc Donald's. As for the food this is way above average pub food cooked by chef who has been well acknowledged in both Worcestershire and Shropdshire for many years and to compare the food to at least one of the establishments mentioned is a joke. Charmless owners, especially the awful landlady. Felt very uncomfortable from the moment we arrived. There is a sign saying that children will be given to the circus. I would imagine that 's only if the landlady hasn 't eaten them first. She certainly seems capable of dining out on the odd unfortunate. The food was very average pub food and there is better in this locale so would avoid it. The Holt Fleet, Riverside-Lenchford, Manor at Abberley, all close by , all head and shoulders above this 'locals drinking hole '. Sorry but no.

We used to live in Holt and remembered this pub for the friendly, welcoming place it was as we were coming through to see friends, decided to pop in. Wish we hadn't bothered. Food was expensive for what it was and the old place has really lost its charm. Not sure if it is brewery owned or freehold. Breweries are only interested in maximising profit for minimal effort so I suspect it's a brewery. Wouldn't return.
We were excited when this reopened as on social media it looks a friendly welcoming pub. Unfortunately when we went for drinks with friends, the old short haired lady made us feel so uncomfortable we will not be returning. They were quite rude and abrupt, made our friend feel silly when she asked a question. Definitely not family friendly pub if you’re not in the clique I wouldn’t bother going.
A real gem of a country pub. Beer and food is really good. The Landlord and Landlady are very welcoming and always up for a laugh. The staff are very friendly and provide excellent service and are quick to pull your next pint. Would recommend it to anyone.
Just had a fabulous lunch at this very welcoming country pub. The food was so good and my husband says the faggotts are to die for. Landlady and staff were really friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend

What a little gem this place is! Made to feel very welcome the moment we walked through the door! Friendly staff friendly locals great beer and great food! By far one of the (if not) the best pub in the area.
Fantastic country pub. Cosy with a great garden. Good beer and food! Friendly staff. Visited a few times now, chilled in the day and lively at night. Highly recommended.
