This used to be our favourite lunch spot until everything changed earlier this year. After a poor experience a few months back we gave up. However the latest reviews looked promising so we dropped in for lunch today. What a difference, lovely warm fire in a clean bar, clean tables, great service from the guy behind the bar and great beer. The menu is much smaller than before but there were a few specials on the board . My seafood platter was huge and absolutely delicious. Hubby had the corned beef pie on the specials and he really enjoyed it. Prices are very reasonable too. We were hoping they would be putting on a Christmas menu through December but apparently not. Lovely quirky little pub just on the outskirts of dalby forest we stopped in here on our way out from go ape for a bite to eat and the food was brilliant you could tell it was all locally sourced and fresh it tasted delicious and the service to go with it was even better very welcoming and polite staff who where happy to help no matter what we asked we will most certainly return but would highly recommend this venue to anyone. Only downside is that didnt get any photo of the venue or food because i was that hungry
I agree 100% with Brookfield63, for the first time in 8 months the New Inn have a landlord and landlady who are a credit to themselves. Andy and Laura are so hard working they deserve every success. The food looks fantastic, the beer is spot on and the place is slowly get cleaned after 8 months of neglect. I just hope that WJS Pub Company give them all the support they need during these difficult times in the licensed trade, if not WJS deserved to be drummed out of business.
visited here for a Sunday roasting was amazingly good selection and great portions. was in the situation that day before so no problems with not getting a table good selection of ales and such freendly people in and out of the whole to book

I called for a lunch. you have to say that it was not disappointed to get a wonderful gluten-free meal. burger with chips n salat. very tasty and plentiful. personal very attentive. will definitely be back to visit. x x x

for some well-earned refreshments after our family hike. well maintained, traditional pub, good service and we are priced. massive beer garden and eating looked lovely!
