We are in Atlantic City and looking for an Indian restaurant nearby and came across this restaurant. We drove around 10 miles to reach here. The place was Offering lunch buffet on Friday. The atmosphere was good , buffet food was OK with few options on Veg and chkn, no seafood or egg items on the buffet. As a pescatarian, I ordered a chilly shrimp which was not at all good, it could have been 100 times better. Overall experience was OK. Vegetarian options: It has good vegetarian option. We are very limited with food choices in Barnegat so we discovered The Nizams after one of our daughters sports tournaments around 6 years ago. This is our go to Indian restaurant now. We drive the 30 plus miles from Barnegat for either take out or we eat there. Our son and girlfriend moved to that area and they now go quite often. Food is amazing and the staff is always friendly and awesome!! One of my favorite spots for sure! Never disappointed with any meals we have gotten. Highly recommend trying them!
It was our first time at Nizam’s tonight. We’ll definitely be back! I’ve been so hoping for an authentic Indian restaurant close to home.
