During our Christmas vacation, we explored various towns in Virginia, and we discovered a true gem: Kelmarnick and the Office Restaurant. The restaurant gets its name from the dental office that used to occupy the space, and it features a bright and inviting atmosphere with incredibly friendly staff. I really appreciate a focused menu that emphasizes quality over quantity. They also offer a diverse selection of wines and beers. Be sure to make a reservation, as it gets busy, but the staff always treats you like family. We will definitely be returning frequently, and you'll fall in love with the town, too!
I absolutely loved everything about this restaurant! The pineapple martini was delightful, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The manager was also great, contributing to the positive atmosphere. It's a place with fantastic vibes. For my lunch, I had the grilled shrimp and goat cheese pizza, which I highly recommend. The service, food, and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5. Plus, there’s plenty of free parking available. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience for around $20–30 per person.
I just wanted to share my experience. I wasn’t very hungry, so I decided to order dessert at the bar. Brooke, the bartender, was fantastic—she has such a bright and sparkling personality! The general manager, Mark, also greeted me, and we had a nice little chat. The atmosphere is really friendly, and the dessert was excellent. I’ll definitely be back to try more of the food!

Charming little restaurant, but the service was disappointing. We waited over twenty minutes for our drinks and decided to leave. The table next to us was also expressing frustration about their server being absent. It seems there might be an issue with the staff.

What a unique spot! The hospitality from Mark and his team is incredible, and the food is delicious—making for a fantastic experience! There's a genuine quality in everything they do here. If you're in the area, this is a must-visit! The Pow Pow shrimp are out of this world!
Aside from our son’s shrimp and grits, which he found to be overly salty, our meal was enjoyable. Our entrees took quite a while to arrive, but it wasn’t the waitress's fault. She explained that a large table's order had been prioritized ahead of ours.
The Office Bistro is one of our top choices! The staff is fantastic, the atmosphere is consistently warm and inviting, and the food is well-prepared and delicious. You can't go wrong by dining at The Office Bistro.
