Haven 't been in The Beams for some years but it retains all of it 's character. I had the sea bass and it was superb, best I 've ever eaten. My daughter had the roast which she said was ok but she didn 't like the gravy, not sure why.
We waited almost 1 hour for the meal to arrive. The roast dinner was spoilt by the yorkshire pudding that was so burnt it was completely inedible we didn't bother to request a replacement having waited so long for it to arrive.
Fantastic welcome, delicious food and prompt service. Just lost one star for ambience as our table was right by the door, so busy with people coming and going. Wouldn’t put me off going again though.
The quality of food was exceptional service perfect we were holding a birthday party highly recommended
