Took a visiting friend for evening meal. Booking on line was easy and as we were running a bit late rang to let them know and they kept table for us. Friendly waiting staff who went out of their way to make the evening memorable. Our friend has a specific food intolerance and they ensured all food was acceptable and even arranged for a specific sweet not on the menu to be available. They could not have been more helpful. The food was good and I particularly enjoyed the put lentil lasagne! We enjoyed our trip to the Farmhouse and would recommend it. The place is spacious and felt warm and inviting. Give it a go.
I love the old farmhouse I have been dining there for sometime, the food was very well presented and very tasty as always only one disappointment was the rump steak my son ordered it was very fatty and they explained they’d had a few complaints but we were kindly recompensed! Would definitely recommend.
This restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and is located in a pleasant area. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the food is absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to eat.
The staff were so attentive…maybe because there were not many people in the restaurant. My husband (who has dementia) was ‘a bit awkward’ but the waiter dealt with his attitude brilliantly. …..I was so relieved.

The restaurant was very welcoming and the wait for our meal was reasonable. I had the gammon and it was delicious and perfectly cooked. The chips were also great, clearly cooked three times to perfection.

From the moment we entered, made to feel welcome. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Quick service. Not the cheapest, but very tasty.
