Been here several times with intention of chatting and having several coffees. Seating is upstairs and order and cash desk are downstairs as you come in. Thing is that this facility also has to deal with the take-away service of drinks, ice cream etc and a queue builds up. Irrespective of whether you are sitting in or using take-away you join the same queue which can be out on the street. This can be annoying enough for the first order but for further orders it feels totally inappropriate. The staff are very pleasant and the coffees are quite acceptable but those running the business really need to find a solution to the above issue in my opinion. There is a nice vegan baguette: with falafel, nice vegan cheese, and yummy chilli jam. Basically half of the (many) cakes available are vegan. There’s usually a vegan soup on. Sometimes non-vegan dishes are adaptable to become vegan, so if other options run out it’s not a problem. There are 4 alternative milks: oat, almond, coconut, and soya. Dairy free mochas and hot chocolates available. Option of cinnamon on top of cappuccinos (instead of standard dairy chocolate powder). This is definitely the best place in Stonehaven for a vegan lunch/ coffee/ or cake, and seems to be getting even better. A nice cafe interior and lovely service too.
Great location and beautiful Pretzel pastry. The lad and girl behind the ice cream counter/till were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately today the atmosphere in the kitchen was noticeable in that the staff did not talk to each other once. The lady serving the coffees today was far more interested in trying to sort the music on her sound system than serving our coffees. We waited nearly ten minutes for coffees that should only have taken three or four not surprisingly they were warm and not hot. She barely acknowledged us. Not impressed and very sadly we won't be back.
Found this place when we went for a wonder by the harbour. Lovely cafe with plenty of places to sit outside if you want. They had two vegan ice cream flavours, I had the strawberry and yuzu one. They also had a vegan cake available. Everything was clearly marked and they clarified if we were vegan so they could make sure they took extra measures.

Only one vegan lunch option but it was so delicious. I had a toasted falafel, beetroot chutney and salad baguette to takeaway and sit on a bench in Stonehaven harbour. I spotted that they had a couple of choices of vegan ice cream too but didn’t try it today.
Vegan falafel baguette is spot on! great atmosphere with friendly and speedy service. There is a balcony seat with a great view over the harbour. Very reasonably priced. There is vegan Ice-cream which I have not tried.
Tasty coffee and good grilled sandwiches. We had the opportunity to sit on the balcony which was great because the temperature inside was a little bit on the warmer side…
A nice little place to have ice cream by the harbour. They had 2 vegan flavours, chocolate with blood orange or Madagascan vanilla.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Excellent ice cream! Coffee was pretty mediocre though as it was burnt. Fast service.
Lovely cafe with cosy vegan options. I had the falafel toasted baguette which was tasty and filling.
